Blondelle are a death defying, high flying, electrifying gang of guys who play great music. You
can dance to it, fight to it, make love to it, or whatever you want, you choose! With a public
library of influences ranging from Ziggy to Iggy these lads will stop at nothing until they pollute
your souls, but in a good way!.
Will, Rory, Sam & Michael -- four boys ages 18/19 who met originally when lead singer Will
was trying to break into lead guitarist Sam’s back yard. The intruder quickly became Sam’s best
friend and they started jamming way back in 2002, it seemed only natural to start a band. Only
one problem: Where to find the other members?
Problem solved when Sam’s cousin Rory was enlisted to play bass. Actually he couldn’t play
anything when he first joined but quickly figured it out (a minor prodigy, that boy). The last piece
of the puzzle was getting a drummer. But that was easy because three days after Rory joined,
the boys found Michael through an ad in the NME. Blondelle was born!
The boys say, “Blondelle a good excuse for not having a real job.” But they are fast becoming
the hardest working band in show business with gigs all over London and the UK. Their new
EP, ‘Started When You Were Young’, is released on October 9th 2006 with a
simultaneous single release on limited vinyl edition of “I Wonder.” Their LP of the
same name has now been licensed in Japan with more territories to follow.
So lock up your daughters and your finest single malts, cos Blondelle might just be coming to a
